For 2009 or newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles, owners will conduct maintenance on an alternating schedule of Service A and Service B tasks known as the Flexible Service System. We encourage our clients to contact our Service Center and receive additional information about service intervals, as certain vehicles produced with AMG® powertrains may have unique needs.
Service A
Service A is a package of services that help your Mercedes-Benz run smoothly, performed after the first year or 10,000 miles, and every two years or 20,000 miles beyond that. Please keep in mind that the frequency of Service A may vary based on driving habits, operating conditions, and other environmental factors. Factory-required items that our technicians perform for Service A include:
- Synthetic Motor Oil Replacement and Oil Filter Replacement.
- Fluid Level Check and Correction using factory recommendations.*
- Tire Inflation Check and Correction.
- Brake Component Inspection.
- Reset Maintenance Counter.
- Adhere to all required elements on the corresponding service sheet for Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Systems in the USA.
Service B
Service B requires our technicians to perform in-depth services on an alternating schedule to Service A, occurring every other year or 20,000 miles after purchase. Factory-required items that our technicians perform for Service B include:
- Synthetic Motor Oil Replacement and Oil Filter Replacement
- *Fluid Level Check and Correction using factory recommendations
- Tire Inflation Check and Correction
- Brake Component Inspection
- Reset Maintenance Counter
- Brake Fluid Exchange
- Cabin Dust/Combination Filter Replacement
- Adhere to all required elements on the corresponding service sheet for Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Systems in the USA
Mercedes-Benz Diesel or Sprinter Commercial Vans
For Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with a diesel powertrain or Sprinter commercial vehicles, drivers will also utilize a Service A and Service B schedule that alternates to keep on top of various maintenance needs. While services remain similar, diesel vehicles will require additional services, such as:
- AdBlue Diesel Exhaust Fluid Check and Correction.
- Replace Fuel Filter using factory recommendations (Service B only).
- Adhere to all required elements on the corresponding service sheet.
